A critical component of the Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation process is monitoring procedures performed by the provider to ensure that hospital specific core privileging criteria are being met. The Procedure Tracking Component has been enhanced to include CPT/ICD cross-match with a provider’s privileges. Based on clinical data reporting or via interface, procedure tracking information can be entered and tracked to support multiple areas of the Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation.

1. From the    section on the main menu bar, select "Procedure Tracking" from the drop-down menu.

2. The "Provider Search" window will open. If you are currently working with a provider record, go directly to step 4.
   

3. Enter the search criteria and click the button. The "Provider Search Results" will display.
   

4. Click the radio button by the Doc ID to select the Provider. The "Procedure Tracking" filter will display. Enter the occurrence "To" and "From" dates by manually typing the dates in the provided fields, or by using the calendar tool.  Quick links for the Current Week, Current Month and Current Quarter are also provided.

5. Click the Filter Procedures button to view the report.
   
    

6. Select an individual MRN# to open the individual procedure. This is a toggle switch to open and close the item.
   

7. To view the Privileges of the provider select the Show Privileges  link.
