Credentialing and Primary Source Verification (PSV) Information Setup

 

The first step in credentialing a new provider is to verify that the provider’s practice locations and primary source verification (PSV) addresses (i.e., Medical School Institutions, Hospital Appointments) are included in the EPR System’s main address information by performing the following steps:

 

Prior to adding or updating any address information the Specialist should call the practice and/or primary source verification address listed on the provider’s application to verify that accurate information has been provided on the application.

 

Based on a review of the provider's credentialing application and prior to beginning the credentialing process it is the Specialist's responsibility to ensure that all of the following types of addresses have been added or updated in the EPR System "Master Table Maintenance" section.

  1. From the main menu select “Master Table Maintenance” from the drop-down menu.
